Doors open at 4:30pm. Shows start at 5:30pm and will be done by 7pm, latest. Like Kirstenbosch, this is a fully outdoor concert & these shows go on despite a little bit of rain. Please come dressed accordingly. No cooler boxes permitted, we have our full menu on offer – and those with grass tickets, please bring blankets to sit on.
After the release of their international smash hit ‘Indigo girl’ in 2000, Watershed has gone on to release 7 studio albums with their latest release in 2021 entitled ‘Elephant in the room’! The band has received two South African music awards, performed at the first 46664 Nelson Mandela concert at Green Park Stadium and shared the stage with some of the world’s greatest musicians.
Watershed are progressive in their production and song writing and consistently deliver radio singles that have kept them top of the pile for over two decades. Their live performance is powerful and sonically true to their albums!
Watershed, one of the most successful and well-loved bands ever to come out of South Africa are currently celebrating their 22nd year in the music industry in 2022.
This multi-platinum selling band have released 6 studio albums so far, along with a greatest hits album during their 20 year career, as well as receiving 2 SAMA awards for best pop album and a SAMA nomination for best adult contemporary album in 2019. They are also multiple winners of SA’s best band award by People Magazine.
