Who are The DeadBeats?

The DeadBeats are an 80’s (and then some) cover band with roots in the rock and alternative scene. They bring their own unique flavour to many well-known classics.

The band have been performing together since 2016 but have been active in the South African music circuit since the 90s. This energetic group loves to get a crowd moving and singing along to dance floor favourites like Simple Minds’ ‘Don’t You Forget About Me”, Midnight Oil’s “Beds Are Burning” and Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell”, but are not afraid to show their sensitive side and slow things down to the tune of Nik Kershaw’s “Wouldn’t It Be Good”, INXS’ “Never Tear Us Apart” and The Cure’s “Love Song”.

Whatever mood you’re in, you can be assured The DeadBeats will have you tapping your feet and feeling nostalgic.
