Liam Burger achieved incredible success in 2022 with his collaboration on DJ Cosher’s single ‘Sound of Silence’. Liam is one of Cape Town’s fastest rising singer-songwriters and has a nostalgic, but modern style of song writing – evident on his debut EP “Wide Awake”. The complete 7-track debut EP, released towards the end of 2021 includes earlier popular singles ‘Take it Slow’ and ‘When I Met You’, along with radio hits ‘Falling Apart’ and ‘Wide Awake’. Following the success of ‘Sound of Silence’, Liam concluded 2022 with the release of his upbeat Pop single ‘Sofa’. Liam explains that the song is about the anxiety and fear of his health scare he had in 2022 recurring, as well as the pressure to top his previous release.
