Lee Cole
South African singer-songwriter and producer Lee Cole has firmly established himself as one of the country’s most exciting musical talents, captivating audiences with his unique blend of pop, R&B, and soul. Known for hits like “Blind,” “Headrush,” “Pink Dragons,” and “Honey, Let Me In,” Cole’s music has resonated with millions, marked by chart-topping singles and unforgettable live performances.
His February 2024 single, “Blind,” soared to the #1 spot on multiple South African radio charts. Building on this success, his August 2024 release, “Headrush,” garnered an impressive audience of 22.28 million listeners and secured strong chart positions. His November 2024 hit, “Little Bit,” further cemented his rising status in the industry. His last three singles alone have amassed over 3,000 plays on South African radio, collectively reaching an astonishing 172.93 million listeners as of 24 February 2025.
Lee Cole’s live performances have further cemented his reputation as a captivating artist. From intimate club shows to major festivals, he consistently delivers unforgettable experiences for his audiences. Highlights include his 2024 Eastern and Western Cape tour, featuring a standout performance at KFM’s KDAY, and his dynamic appearances at the SAFTAs and as the opening act for Calum Scott. Fresh from the success of his milestone performances as the opening act for global music icon Robbie Williams in Cape Town and Pretoria earlier this year, and having just returned from Portugal, launching his international touring circuit and where he supported South African rock legends Prime Circle, Cole is riding a wave of momentum that solidifies his growing presence on both the local and international stage.
Influenced by rock legends Queen, AC/DC, and Michael Jackson, Lee Cole’s artistry reflects a genre-defying sound that melds powerful vocals with emotional storytelling. Behind the scenes, Marco Gomes, founder of Prime Circle, manages Cole, praising his “X Factor” and unique approach to music.
Now, he’s set to keep the momentum going with his highly anticipated dance track, “Ice=cream,” dropping on 28 February 2025. While music is his primary passion, Lee Cole is also a proud National rink hockey player, representing South Africa in this demanding sport. This dual role as a musician and athlete showcases his dedication and versatility, making him a true ambassador for the country both on and off the stage.
