Singer/songwriter from Cape Town , Kayla The Crow, a rising artist in the Pop, Psychedelic Rock and ambient music genres, has quickly amassed a devoted fanbase on both a national and international level thanks to her contagious melodies and compelling lyrics! She has shared stages with LA WITCH(US), YAK(UK), BCUC and LUCY KRUGER. Her music features on SHOWMAX and other independent films. Her music perfectly encapsulates a analogue approach , combining pop sensibilities with energetic rhythms and appealing hooks. Electronic components, dreamy synths, and soulful vocals combine to form her distinctive sound, which is both retro and modern.
California Janson paints with her words , drawing on folklore and the human-experience for inspiration. To play with the guitar as if it is a Celtic Harp, with melodies that rise and fall like the ocean tides.
