On Wednesday the 26th of April, long standing and celebrated Cape Town singer and songwriter Jak Tomas (the artist formerly known as Joshua Kenneth Grierson), will be bringing an incredible ensemble of musicians to Cafe Roux.

Alongside his newly formed backing band, The Rebellion feat Nick Ornellas (Ard Matthews, 7thSon, The Little Kings, Flat Stanley and Saber) on the drums and Tony Marx (Jo Martin Band) on bass, harmonica and djembe, Tomas has gathered his friends: Moodship (bowed guitar and voice) John Ellis (guitar and voice) Lilavan Gangen (all things eastern percussion) and Gabriel Eduard Du Toit (Saxophone), to bring you a night of spirited arrangements of Tomas’ songs and a few surprises.
This one night only event is sure to have you enthralled and swept away with its hypnotic musings and otherworldly soundscapes. This one is definitely not to be missed!
