Dax Butler’s Fabulous Resentments

Dax Butler is a veteran South African songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

Born in Alberton on the East Rand and grew up on a diet of Rock and Roll and Soul Music in the late 50’s and 60’s. Spent the early 70’s in the UK, Tennessee and California, learning how to write songs and get into trouble. Both seemed to happen quite easily.

Returned to S.A. and began playing in local bands…

Dax is currently performing with Dax Butler’s Fabulous resentments, a great band of musicians from the Western Cape and recording the next bunch of songs with Willem Moller and Roger Bashew.
