Big Christmas Africa – Outdoor Family Xmas Concert!
We’re excited to announce another Festive Season Outdoor Show at café Roux:
Big Christmas Africa – Outdoor Family Xmas Concert!
It’s all change for this year’s Summer Outdoor Concerts – Please choose between:
-
*Premium seated table tickets @ R200 each are closer to the stage and enjoy the full café Roux food & beverage menu.
-
*Grass tickets @ R120 are offered in spots comprising 2 to 4 tickets. Here holders are encouraged to bring a blanket or cushions to sit on – and can enjoy a smaller menu of pizza, salads, calamari, burgers & select drinks.
It’s that time of the year again folks!
Join us for a fun filled, all-ages Outside Christmas concert at the beautiful café Roux in Noordhoek on Monday the 23rd of December!
This is a celebration of the release of the Sit the Folk Down Christmas compilation album “Big Christmas Africa”, a collection of Christmas/Holiday favourites, but performed by some super talented local musicians.
The Misty Cliffs (Nick Turner, Nick Catto and Matt Catto) will once again be holding down the fort as the house band and we’ll have a few of the performers from the album lending a hand throughout the show.
Expect all your favourite Christmas tunes but done with a uniquely South African flavour!
- Please note:
- Kids pay full ticket price
- Arrive from 4:30pm, show starts 5:30pm
- Like Kirstenbosch, we go ahead in light rain so please dress accordingly!
- No cooler boxes permitted
- To be considerate to others, only very low beach chairs are permitted on the grass
- Parking is very limited at The Farm Village over the high season so please walk/Uber/travel together – or use side roads around the Village!
How to Book:
PREMIUM SEATED
On the seating plan, just click on your chosen table and, one by one, buy the seats you require at that table (NB: if you don’t buy all the seats on that table, others may buy and sit with you). If you can’t get the table configuration you want and end up booking seats on different tables as a result, please do so under the same email address and we’ll automatically put you together on one table. In fact, any seats booked under the same email address we will assume are together but, if this is not the case, (or if you are booking with friends under different email addresses), just let us know and we’ll make a plan to seat you together. If the event appears sold-out, or you want to add to an existing booking, the same applies – just drop us an email to events@caferoux.co.za and we’ll do our best to make a plan!
If you struggle with the booking or online payment process, or want to swap tables, we can’t help with that – so please contact Quicket on support@quicket.co.za and they will. If you can’t make the show and want to try to resell your tickets, please make use of Quicket’s secondary ticket sale option online – or let us know and we’ll try to sell your tickets on the door.
GRASS TICKETS
Simply choose your spot and buy anything from 2 to 4 tickets as you would do when booking a table. Each grass spot has its own drinks tray and is numbered so the waiters will find you easily – and, no matter how many seats you choose, that spot remains yours! Want to be near your friends? Let us know on events@caferoux.co.za and we’ll do our best to put you together!
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!
GIFT DRIVE FOR OUR XMAS CONCERTS
Every year we do a gift drive to support learners in Masiphumelele.
This year we will be collecting stationery for 2025 for Masicorp
Masicorp’s education programmes reach over 4000 people from Masi every year. By supporting and focusing on early learning, increasing literacy and numeracy for primary school children, and helping people build sustainable futures through developing valuable skills, Masicorp is building hope in the community of Masiphumelele. Your gift of school supplies will be used in Masicorp’s education programmes, or where parents are unable to purchase much needed school supplies for their children. Masicorp wishes for every adult and child in Masi to have access to a quality education – but they cannot do it without the right tools for learning.
