Legendary South African rock band Ballyhoo is proud to announce its highly anticipated 50 Years Celebration Tour, taking place throughout December 2026.
A name synonymous with success in the South African music industry, Ballyhoo captured the hearts of fans with chart-topping favourites including “Man on the Moon,” “Take Me Down to Cape Town,” and “I’m a Dreamer.”
Audiences attending the 50 Years Celebration Tour can expect a nostalgic journey through the band’s greatest hits, alongside classic rock anthems from legendary artists such as The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and Queen, creating an unforgettable live music experience for generations of fans.

The current Ballyhoo lineup brings together decades of musical experience. Derrick Dryan, lead vocalist and percussionist, is renowned for his commanding stage presence and engaging performances. Fergie Ferguson, bassist and lead vocalist, provides the driving rhythm and rich vocal harmonies that have become a hallmark of the Ballyhoo sound. Ralph Martin, lead guitarist and vocalist, completes the trio with his exceptional guitar work, musical versatility, and distinctive vocal contributions.
As Ballyhoo celebrates 50 remarkable years in music, fans old and new are invited to join the band this December for a memorable tribute to their legacy, their songs, and the timeless spirit of rock ’n roll.
