Back in Black – A Tribute to AC/DC

Recreating Vinyl (the band’s name embodies their aim to achieve perfection in tributing classic and legendary music) originally formed to perform an AC/DC segment for the 2016 Tribute Fest at Hillcrest Quarry. 

After a great reception, they decided to expand the segment into a full show called “Back in Black A Tribute to AC/DC ” and have since performed extensively with much success since 2017.

Recreating Vinyl consists of 5 fantastic musicians, who have performed together in various cover bands over the last 20 years. 

Riaan Steyn on drums and Ian Smit on lead guitar are both members of The Family Band’s hugely successful A Queen Experience. 

David Adamson is on bass guitar, Neil Lombard on rhythm guitar and backing vocals and the incredibly talented Lance Jackson is lead vocalist and energetic frontman. This ensemble will rock your socks off!

Australian Band AC/DC is more than just a band; it’s a cultural icon. Their fiery live performances, unforgettable guitar riffs and musical heritage make them an inspiration to musicians the world over. Their theatrical high-energy shows placed them among the most popular stadium performers of the 1980s. 

Prepare yourself for a fantastic old school rock show, with hits like “Shook Me All Night Long”, “Back in Black”, “Highway to Hell”, “Thunderstruck” and many more!

• If you can’t get the table configuration you want and end up booking seats on different tables as a result, please do so under the same email address and we’ll automatically put you together on one table. In fact, any seats booked under the same email address we will assume are together and arrange seating at one table. If this is not the case, however, or if you are booking with friends under different email addresses, just let us know and we’ll make a plan to seat you together. If the event appears sold-out, or you want to add to an existing booking, the same applies – just drop us an email to events@caferoux.co.za and we’ll do our best to make a plan!
