We’re excited to announce another Festive Season Outdoor Show at cafe Roux – ARNO CARSTENS!
Seated (R250) and Grass (R150) tickets available – A few things to remember:
Doors open at 4:30pm. Shows start at 5:30pm and will be done by 7pm latest. Like Kirstenbosch, this is a fully outdoor concert & these shows go on despite a little bit of rain. Please come dressed accordingly. No cooler boxes permitted, we have our full menu on offer – and those with grass tickets, please bring blankets to sit on.
Arno Carstens is an award-winning singer-songwriter and fine-artist based in Cape Town, South Africa.
During his career as the lead singer of The Springbok Nude Girls, and subsequently as a solo artist, Arno has released multiple albums in both English and Afrikaans, with a string of successful singles & awards including Best Rock Album, Best Alternative Album & Song of the Year.
He’s been called “The godfather of South African Rock” by Mail & Guardian & Sunday Times have hailed him as “One of the most prolific songwriters & performers of our time”
Arno is a celebrated fine artist who paints in oils or acrylic on canvas and draws with charcoal on paper. Some of his creations will be on display inside @Roux on the day
