Altello was born during the height of lockdown in Cape Town, channeling forced time spent at home to writing music and recording their first songs.

The band has released three singles, filmed a music video, and performed live in Cape Town, the Winelands and the Garden Route.

Altello brings an indie approach with a live dreampop sound, delivered with thoughtful lyrics and moving instrumentals.

Altello’s performance at Café Roux on 23 October 2021 comes with the special occasion of releasing a brand new single. With powerful vocals, tastey guitar licks and a grooving rhythm section, this is a show not to miss.
