RockSteady is super stoked to be celebrating their 10th year of playing together with a show filled with songs by their favourite rock bands. Join us for a night of kick-ass music and legendary guitar solos – you won’t be disappointed!

RockSteady is a well-established, five-piece, Cape Town-based rock band. Made up of a unique, eclectic blend of musicians with an energy and synergy that has kept audiences rocking throughout the Western Cape for the last 10 years!

RockSteady’s genre of choice is Rock, though they are equally at home with blues, funk, pop, reggae, country, and R&B. With four singers in the band, they are easily able to perform a large variety of music.

Besides having musicianship under our belts, we are passionate about creating high energy performances. In 2018 RockSteady moved into the world of Tribute Shows. Their Women of Rock show has received much success throughout the Western Cape, tributing 27 women iconic women in rock music, from Janis to Joan Jett, Blondie to the Bangles, Grace Slick to Grace Jones, Tina Turner to Dolly Parton, Pattie Smith to the Pretenders and the list goes on! RockSteady also has a Classic rock show, as well as an 80’s evening. Of course the band is just as happy to provide an evening mixing it all up and playing their favorite music between the 60’s/70’s and 80’s and even 90’s if requested!

Over the past 10 years RockSteady has filled venues such as: Café Roux, Die Koelkamers, The Quarry, Die Boer, The Drama Factory, Woodstock Brewery, The Jagger Lounge, Aces & Spades, Ferrymans, TheBeer Festival, The Sushi Festival, Porsche Club Cape, Harley Davidson Club The Bay Sports Bar and The Royal Cape Yacht Club, as well as many private functions and corporate events.
