Electric Skeletons
ELECTRIC SKELETONS is a three-piece band formed by CONOR MCCULLAGH, son of MIKE MCCULLAGH from MIKE AND THE HARMONIX and MCCULLY WORKSHOP.
The group consists of CONOR on lead guitar, UZAIR ABADER on keyboards and BECCA VILJOEN on guitar and vocals. The group play an eclectic mix of songs by famous artists giving them an original spin – songs by SEAL, STING, RAY CHARLES, GUNS ‘N ROSES, THE EAGLES, THE BEATLES, BOB MARLEY, GREEN DAY, COLDPLAY, DIRE STRAITS, ERIC CLAPTON and more, and all get the band’s acoustic rock treatment.
ELECTRIC SKELETONS have chosen to support BREADLINE AFRICA, a charitable organization established in 1993. Breadline Africa is dedicated to uplifting Southern Africa’s children through educational infrastructure and initiatives. For more information visit https://breadlineafrica.org/
Uzair has played piano throughout his school career and beyond. While he was in the school jazz band, he has performed in shows from school assemblies to the Morning Show on SABC 3.
Becca is currently studying jazz singing at UCT South African College of Music, and has performed with the Herschel school band.
Conor has performed with MIKE AND THE HARMONIX in their LEGENDS SHOW and received standing ovations for his lead guitar skills… patrons are in for a musical treat whilst supporting an amazing charity!
