Craig Lucas – The Identity Crisis Tour
Craig Lucas is back and bolder than ever, closing off his Identity Crisis tour with one final show at Café Roux! The Identity Crisis Tour is not just a tour—it’s a full-throttle reintroduction to one of South Africa’s most captivating voices. Known for his genre-blurring, emotion-packed songs, Craig is ready to take fans on a journey through his past, present, and the future of his music.
Expect a night packed with hits, including favourites like Smother, Hearts Exposed, Anti-sociable, Happy, and Better. Of course, he’ll also deliver his latest radio smash Falling in Love, which has already clocked over 2,500 spins across South Africa.
This tour is personal. Craig dives headfirst into stories behind the songs, touching on everything from his struggles with identity and mental health to the messy realities of love and sobriety. If his upcoming project is about embracing imperfection, the live shows promise to be as raw, real, and electrifying as the music itself.
For the uninitiated: Craig Lucas burst onto the scene in 2017, winning The Voice South Africa Season 2 and immediately capturing hearts with his powerhouse vocals and soul-baring performances. A self-taught musician from Elsies River on the Cape Flats, Craig describes his sound as “alternative pop,” designed for misfits, dreamers, and anyone who doesn’t quite fit the mould.
His debut album RESTLESS earned a SAMA nomination for Best Pop Album, and his singles have racked up over 13 million streams. He’s graced stages like KDay, Cape Town Pride, and Starlight Classics, and now he’s ready to bring his evolution to life on the Identity Crisis Tour.
But it’s not just about the music. Craig is using this tour to make a difference. He’s partnering with local charities along the way like The Diner’s Club (Kommetjie) and Sinethemba (Knysna) to support children and at-risk youth. With a focus on mental health, recovery, and representation, this is more than a concert—it’s a movement.
Come for the music. Stay for the feels. Walk away with a story to tell.
