Blues, Folk, Acoustic, Rock… when it comes to music it is a universal language for songwriters Albert Meintjes and Tanja Storm.

In a typical world of labelling, one would think that Albert and Tanja’s musical taste and style are vastly different. Yet they are one that a song itself determines the sound and even the author cannot decide in advance what it should sound like. The notes flow and the words glide melodically over it – one song can take you on a nostalgic journey of Blues, Rock and many more – all locked in one.

The contrast does not stop with their music, but also where they come from: Albert was born and bred in Pretoria while Tanja is from the Cape of storms. But as with the music, their destinations have also come together and both reside in the Garden Route.
