Bad Peter is an independent singer/songwriter duo from Pretoria, South Africa made up of PG Badenhorst and Alwyn Bekker. The band formed in March 2014 and released their debut EP titled ‘Let Go’ in November 2015 under label David Gresham Records. With the duo no longer under label, Bad Peter is proud to have released two independent EPs: Need to Hear (2017) and Home (2022.)

Bad Peter has a passion for playing acoustic guitar, performing live and writing songs.

‘We don’t like to limit ourselves to a specific genre. Being singer-songwriters gives us that freedom. You’ll hear folk, blues, african, pop and latin influences in our songs!’ – Bad Peter.
