Fintry with Rayelle Goodman

November 5, 2020 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
cafe roux, Noordhoek

Fintry are a unique and entertaining sibling band consisting of Caroline, Julie and Jonny Blundell.

Acoustically driven (mostly original) songs with folk, blues, African, Celtic and country influences.

You will love the fabulous close harmonies, and beautiful intricate guitar picking: and also a good dose of humour to keep things light!

The Blundells grew up making music together as a family, led by their well-known father Keith Blundell.

Over the years they have preformed widely at music festivals, in live venues, and on TV and radio.

They have performed individually and together in many different bands in a wide range of genres.

Caroline plays guitar and banjo and composes much of the material they perform. Jonny guitar and dobro and also composes. Julie plays electric bass, and all three of them sing with lots of harmony included.

Rayelle is a gifted wonderful violin player, more than comfortable in classic, jazz, rock and folk genres, equally adept at reading and improvising. She performs extensively in Cape Town and internationally.

Check out their You Tube video about False Bay here.
