“Since opening our doors in 2006, café Roux has become an institution in the Noordhoek Valley. It’s a place for friends and family to meet, eat good food and drink great wine. Sit outside in the sun under sprawling oak trees or in a walled-off, child-friendly corner beside the playground in summer; in winter the fire is blazing inside with good music, newspapers and magazines to amuse. The hub of the local community, we offer a fresh, seasonal menu, accompanied by a chalkboard that changes regularly. Expect uncomplicated café food for breakfast and lunch along with home-made cakes, scones, muffins and tarts, freshly baked in-house and served throughout the day. Enjoy café Roux @ Night with a smaller clipboard menu. You’ll find live music on Saturday & Sunday afternoons (2pm – 4pm) , and an outstanding lineup of live music & comedy on various week nights that we’ve named “café Roux Sessions with The Wolftrap” . Every week, we are showcasing SA’s most exciting artists in a uniquely intimate setting. As we said from the day we opened….”We wanted to create a special place where we could sit outside in the sun with our family and friends, eating great food, drinking our favourite wine, listening to music. Simply enjoying life…”
